Gillian HILL MILLER, Secrétaire Générale de l’IWWF « I first met Patrice at Ruislip Waterski Club in England, when he was around 12 years old. A blonder haired little boy showing all the older skiers how to waterski !! Then I watched him win medals at European and World level from 1978 through to 2001. Now I am volunteering with him in his capacity as President of the Europe Confederation of Waterski & Wakeboard. Who would have thought this little boy would grow up to work as hard in being President of an International Federation as he did on the water ? I have never ceased to be amazed at his energy and dedication to the job in hand. He showed true courage as an athlete and he will bring this same courage to the work of the French Olympic Committee. When change is needed, he is ready, with new ideas and a vision for the future. He has the charisma and work ethic to bring people together to benefit all sports participants. I am sure France can find no better person.« |
